The flat hook moethod adds the easiest and fastest way to attach a single climbing step yet! No more threading the strap all the way through the buckle!
It really should come as no surprise that the most popular step for a ring of steps would also be great for climbing! Designed specifically to combat side pressure the platform step is the most solid climbing step we have tried to date.
Should the step find a way to pivot, the additional angled surfaces act as an additional area of support and truly offer the largest area to step on of any climbing step yet.
Like all other climbing steps on the market, under less-than-ideal circumstances, the platform step is susceptible to hinging. But even if hinging should occur, the extra wide area contacting the strap maintains incredibly solid footing.
10 steps will get you nearly 18′ with an average stride and be plenty high enough in most areas with lower canopy.
Throw in a couple more steps and get over 20′ which is adequate even in open canopy for most hunters.
