It is designed for extreme environments. The 40L dry bag features a roll-top clip seal for reliable waterproofing and a built-in valve that lets you expel excess air after packing. This results in a tighter, more compact pack size.
The bag is made of tough yet lightweight nylon fabric, that protects against dust, snow and sand. The integrated D-rings let you secure it vertically or horizontally inside your rucksack to minimize movement on tougher treks. The bag is therefore also perfect for separating wet and dry or clean and dirty gear.
In emergencies, it can be used to carry water or serve as an inflatable pillow.
Proper Use: The Snugpak® Dri-Sak™ WGTE is not designed to be submerged for extended periods of time. Once you have placed your items inside, roll down the reinforced hem at least three times before closing with the buckle then expel as much air as possible using the valve, you can kneel down to expel further air, to reduce the overall pack size. (You may need to insert your finger to release the valve from time to time, for maximum compression.) If storing other equipment, be careful with sharp edges or abrasive items that could damage the inner face of the material.
