This innovative cocoon utilizes sleeping bag technology to combat the issue of compressed insulation in hammocks. The insulating layer completely wraps around the hammock, much like a banana peel, capturing warm air both inside and outside of the hammock. With a full-length zipper, getting in and out of the hammock is effortless. Due to the versatility of this insulation system and the various ways it can be used in a camping setup, it is challenging to determine a specific comfort temperature. However, as a general rule, the insulation is made of Travelsoft and has similar weights to our two-season sleeping bags. We highly recommend experimenting with different setups and gradually increasing exposure to colder temperatures to assess the overall thermal efficiency.
